About
Nadine Präg has been a Senior Scientist at the Department of Microbiology since 2020. Her research focuses on investigating the diversity of microorganisms, particularly in soil, and with a special emphasis on its relevance to the ongoing climate crisis. She has also worked intensively on the interaction between methanogenic – microorganisms, meaning methane producing microorganisms, and methanotrophic, methane consuming, microorganisms – in terrestrial ecosystems.
