As part of the Entwicklungstagung (Development Conference) 2025, held in Innsbruck at the end of November, a keynote panel discussion featuring Prof. Rina Alluri (University of Innsbruck) has been broadcast on C3 Radio.
This year’s Development Conference took place under the theme “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”, with a particular focus on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16). Against the backdrop of escalating global conflicts, democratic regression, and widening inequalities, the conference provided a critical forum for exchange, reflection, and renewed perspectives on development policy.
In the radio feature, C3 Radio reflects on the significance of the conference and its engagement with questions of global justice, peace, and institutional responsibility. The broadcast highlights how these themes are deeply interconnected and why they remain urgent in the current global context.
The episode includes contributions from:
- Gerald Faschingeder (Paulo Freire Centre)
- Rina Alluri (University of Innsbruck)
- Patrick Bond (University of Johannesburg)
- Ana María Suárez Franco (FIAN International)
