Reduced-fee Open Access Publishing with Inlibra (formerly NOMOS)
Since 2026, university members with active employment contracts or students of the University of Innsbruck can publish open access at reduced fees in the publisher's Gold and S2O journals with a 20% discount.

Who can publish open access?
Eligible are authors, who
- are "submitting corresponding authors" of the article
- are university members with active employment contracts or students of the University of Innsbruck
- all types of articles are eligible for funding; there are no restrictions
Cost
Publication costs respectively article processing charges (APCs) are discounted by 20%.
Procedure/Verification Process
The only way for authors to claim an APC discount at present is to actively communicate their affiliation with an institution participating in the consortium when submitting an article to the editorial office.
PLEASE NOTE: Authors are not automatically recognized as eligible; they must actively claim the discount!
