How to get there

The conference fee will include transfer to the venue in Obergurgl from Innsbruck on the morning of Monday, 9 December 2024 (departure at 10.00 or 11.30 local time), and back to Innsbruck on Friday, 13 December 2024 (departure at 13.00 local time, expected time of arrival in Innsbruck is between 14.30 and 15.00).

Innsbruck is located in Central Europe and is easily reachable from Munich (about 150 km), Zurich (290 km), and Vienna (500 km).

Reaching the Obergurgl University Center...

 

 ...by car:

From Innsbruck

To reach the Obergurgl University Center take the motorway A12 from Innsbruck towards Arlberg/Switzerland. Take the exit "Ötztal" and then follow the B186 towards "Obergurgl". Drive along the B186 passing by Umhausen, through Längenfeld, Sölden, and Zwieselstein.
Don't forget your snow chains in Winter!

From Bregenz:

To reach the Obergurgl University Center take the motorway A12 towards Innsbruck. Take the exit "Ötztal" and then follow the B186 towards "Obergurgl". Drive along the B186 passing by Umhausen, through Längenfeld, Sölden, and Zwieselstein.

...by train/bus:

To reach the Obergurgl University Center take the train to "Ötztal Bahnhof". There you can get a bus to Obergurgl.

...by plane:

Innsbruck Airport is approximately a 1.5 hours drive away from Obergurgl. Munich Airport is approximately 3.5 hours away from Obergurgl. Salzburg, Zurich and Vienna Airport are all within driving distance as well, although we recommend taking the train.
