Specialized Laboratory/Technical Professional

Extent of employment: 20 hours per week

Your responsibilities:

• Conducting molecular biology and cell biology experiments, including cell culture with human cells and lentiviruses, as well as the construction and expression of plasmid vectors in E. coli; flow cytometry;
• data analysis, report writing and laboratory management

Your profile:

• An A-Level-Diploma (or equivalent qualification) and training as a medical laboratory technician (or comparable qualification)
• Interest in experimental work in a research laboratory specialising in molecular biology and cell biology; knowledge of and practical experience in cell culture techniques; experience with standard molecular biology methods
• Experience in flow cytometry would be an advantage
• Written and spoken English; computer skills (MS Office)
• Reliability and attention to detail, ability to work independently, resilience and organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team

Salary: For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.380 per month is stipulated in the collective agreement.
