Possibility to attend lectures at MCI Innsbruck (Master Biotechnology)

Students of the Master's degree programs of the Faculty of Biology at the University of Innsbruck now have the opportunity to attend individual lectures from the Master's in Biotechnology at MCI Innsbruck.

All courses at MCI Innsbruck are held in English.

Requirement:

Active Master's program at the Faculty of Biology (Botany, Microbiology, Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology, Ecology and Biodiversity, Zoology)

Lectures and courses:

A maximum of 2 courses can be attended.
All lectures (VO) from the Master Biotechnology are available for selection: List of selectable MCI courses (German)

Application:

The number of places is limited. Please register with the completed application form prior to the start of the semester (deadlines will be published here in due time) via e-mail to birgit.weinberger@uibk.ac.at.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Students who have already taken part will be ranked later in the application process and can only take part again if there are open places in the following semester.

Further procedure:

Notification of the allocation of places by mid-September before the start of the current semester. You will then be automatically registered as an extraordinary student for the respective semester, registered for the selected lectures and receive further information.

Crediting:

The ECTS-Credits earned can be credited for the elective module Interdisciplinary Competences.
