Alessia’s research has focused on the Alps, spanning from the Western to the Central sectors. With a strong field-based approach and an emphasis on integrating observations across multiple scales, from geological mapping and structural analysis in the field to microstructural investigations in the laboratory, she investigates how deformation processes shape orogenic systems through time and space.

We are happy that Alessia has now made her way to the Eastern Alps and is joining our group as a University Assistant (postdoc).
