Buddy Mentoring System

Dear students!

Our faculty has a Buddy Mentoring System (BMS) to make it easier for first-semester students in the Bachelor's programme to get started in university life.

Buddies

Our programme includes experienced students, i.e. peers who can offer explanations and support with various questions.

Mentors

are professors who are available as contact persons for individual or group support. They provide insights into research and support the study process.

Our degree programmes each offer specific buddy mentoring activities:

  • "Meet the Prof" - get to know your lecturers personally.
  • Gain insights into the world of the university and its organisation.
  • Get a direct and informal introduction to your degree programme.
  • Discuss your interests and career prospects.
  • Receive support from students in organising your studies.

Our buddy mentoring system is an offer, not an obligation. Take part and get to know your degree programme from the perspective of lecturers and fellow students.
