Social Events

The conference program includes three social events that complement the scientific sessions and provide opportunities for informal scientific exchange. The welcome reception on Monday evening is an open event where arriving participants are invited to meet at the CCB. The conference dinner will take place on Thursday at the weitsicht restaurant, where participants will get together with panoramic views over the rooftops of Innsbruck.

Conference Excursions

In addition to the scientific programme, a conference excursion starting at midday on Thursday offers a choice of activities that combine informal scientific exchange with the opportunity to experience the region beyond the conference venue.

Participants will have the opportunity to join one of the following excursions, providing a more relaxed setting for scientific discussion:

Hike to the Boscheben Alm via the Zirbenweg trail
This well-known panoramic trail runs through protected stone pine forests at an altitude of around 2,000 metres. The relatively gentle hike offers clear views of the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountain ranges. It provides an informal environment for exchange while enjoying a half-day outdoor activity.

Guided tour of the city centre
This walking tour introduces participants to Innsbruck’s historic centre, including landmarks such as the Golden Roof and the Imperial Palace. Alongside the guided content, the tour allows for continued discussions in a more casual setting.

Visit to Swarovski Kristallwelten Wattens
Swarovski Kristallwelten is an exhibition space combining art installations, design, and the history of crystal craftsmanship. Featuring themed “Chambers of Wonder” and landscaped outdoor areas, the visit offers a shared cultural experience alongside opportunities for informal interaction.
