I am a meteorologist focusing on the combination of theory, observations, and modelling, specialized on scales ranging from meso, synoptic, to large-scale flow and coordinated several workshops, conferences, schools, field campaigns, and outreach activities.

Awards

Prize for best lecturer of the academic year 2012/2013 at the Faculty for Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Bergen.

Outreach

I lead the science outreach project Next Step together with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring four concerts of the concert series for the 2019/2020 season. The themes of the four concerts were: Space, Ocean, Climate, and Humankind.
