FFG Innovation Camp - Circulation manager in the construction industry

Funding: FFG qualification offensive innovation camps

Funding period: September 2022 - August 2024

Project description:

The circular economy has announced itself in all areas of our society. How best to implement it is the next big question. In order to support companies in the construction industry, the most waste-intensive industry in Austria, in this transition, the University of Innsbruck is organising the "FFG Innovation Camp Circularity Manager in Construction". As the largest FFG Innovation Camp of 2022, four series of seminars will be held for 44 small, medium-sized and large companies.

Through research-oriented knowledge transfer, case studies and concrete recommendations for action, participants will gain the specific know-how to orientate projects and companies towards a circular economy. The focus is on topics such as evaluation systems for buildings, digitalisation potential and the environmentally conscious handling of selected material flows.

In addition to imparting knowledge and exchanging experiences during the seminar series, the seminars are a networking opportunity for companies that want to establish themselves as frontrunners in the new circular economy.
