Status survey and potential analysis of the bioeconomy in Tyrol

As part of an integrative, data- and stakeholder-based study, the status and potential of the bioeconomy in Tyrol is to be analysed in an implementation-oriented manner. A special regional focus is placed on the districts of Kufstein and Kitzbühel. The aim of the study is to create a well-founded and practical basis for strategic decisions, project developments and funding measures. To this end, relevant actors and initiatives are recorded, existing research and funding projects are compiled and central biogenic material and product flows are systematically described. Based on these analyses, an inventory of the bioeconomy in Tyrol will be carried out. In a further step, the potential of the regional bioeconomy is identified and concrete options for action are derived. The results will be presented in workshops.
