Teaching

The work area covers training in the fields of building construction, timber engineering, sound insulation, ... in the study programmes

and the

and the university.

Our teaching is designed to help students develop into qualified and responsible professionals. To this end, we strive to harmonise the teaching of specialist knowledge with the acquisition of practical skills and experience. In view of future requirements, our training of future engineers is at an international level. The central content of our teaching is the description of processes using methods and models from the field of engineering. By teaching both theoretical principles and application-oriented problems, students are given the tools to independently understand, analyse and solve complex problems. Teaching is orientated - as far as possible - towards current research in order to ensure high quality standards. Students are involved in current research projects as part of their Bachelor's and Master's theses.

The department supervises a large number of courses (on average over 14 courses per year) in the fields of architecture, civil and environmental engineering, both in the Bachelor's degree programme and in the Master's degree programme and doctorate.

Due to the large number of courses offered, we would like to refer you to the course catalogue of the University of Innsbruck:
