Simon Elschenbroich, MSc

Simon Elschenbroich was born and raised in Aachen, North Rhine–Westphalia. After completing his secondary education (Abitur), he undertook an apprenticeship as a marketing communications specialist and worked in the advertising industry for a total of five years. He then studied Business & Economics at the bachelor’s level and Strategic Management at the master’s level at the University of Innsbruck. During his time as a marketing and project manager in the advertising industry, he gained extensive practical experience, which continues to shape his research approach today.
In his doctoral research, he focuses on delivery packaging in the context of online shopping, with a particular emphasis on consumers’ perceptions of excessive delivery packaging. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and is a passionate cook.
