On 17 March 2026, our project was presented at the Innsbrucker Linguistischer Arbeitskreis (ILAK). We gave an overview of the project’s framework and objectives, presented the current work of subprojects A and B, and discussed it with the participants of the working group. The event poster is available here.

At the end of January, we hosted a methods workshop for Subproject B to jointly discuss key decisions for the planned online study eliciting linguistic knowledge on the indexicality of German communication verbs. Together with Franziska Kretzschmar (IDS Mannheim), Katja Maquate (HU Berlin), and Torgrim Solstad (Bielefeld University), we discussed the current project status, open questions, and collected targeted feedback during the workshop days. More details in the blog post.

The project is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF)
