We are a team of microbiologists doing basic research on anaerobic microorganisms to better understand their implementation in various applied contexts. We use different cultural techniques and analytical as well molecular biological methods to study microorganisms and their interactions on a molecular level. Our group Applied Ecophysiology in Anaerobic Habitats is part of the research area Alpine Environmental Microbiology of the Department of Microbiology.
