Werner Schroeder is a professor at the Department of European Law and Public International Law at the University of Innsbruck. Considering the growing importance of legal issues related to climate change, his research also addresses European and international law questions relating to environmental and climate protection.

About
Werner Schroeder studied law at the Universities of Passau and Geneva and received his doctorate from the University of Passau. He completed his postgraduate studies (LL.M.) at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1999 he habilitated at the University of Passau. Since 2001, Werner Schroeder has been a university professor at the Institute for European and International Law at the University of Innsbruck, which he has been leading since 2005.
