PhD Education

A prerequisite for admission is the completion of a relevant university diploma or master's degree programme. In any case, a teacher training programme or Master's degree in Religious Education completed at the University of Innsbruck is eligible. The equivalence of other degrees must be checked individually.

Please inform yourself about the research areas of the Faculty of Teacher Education before applying for admission. If one of these areas is of interest to you, please contact one of the professors involved. The main focus of the PhD programme is the writing of a research thesis, for the success of which good cooperation with the chosen supervisor is very important.

Information on the dissertation agreement

At Statutes (Statutes section "Study law provisions") you will find the applicable regulations for, among other things:
