Bridge courses in Computer Science and Mathematics

Join in before the first semester starts!
The bridge course for computer science is available to first-semester students in the bachelor's and teacher training programs in computer science. The bridge course in mathematics is primarily aimed at first-year students in the fields of computer science, physics, and technical mathematics, as well as teacher training in computer science, mathematics, and physics. Participation is optional, but is recommended for all students who do not yet have any programming skills or experience with UNIX systems.
These introductory courses will give you
- an insight into the structure of a computer science, mathematics, or physics study program
- background knowledge about computers and computer science, which will make it easier to start your studies
- a refresher on the mathematical basics required for your studies
- first-hand insider tips on university studies
- the opportunity to get to know fellow students and form study groups in advance
