Welcome Dr. Arnab Roy!

We welcome our new colleague Dr. Arnab Roy to the Department of Computer Science.

Arnab Roy's research focuses on cryptography, cryptanalysis, and their applications. His recent research focuses on secure and efficient symmetric key cryptography for secure and private computation. He is interested in developing advanced cryptographic functions and cryptanalysis techniques for emerging applications of cryptography in security and privacy, such as multi-party computation, homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs.
Arnab Roy received PhD in computer science from the University of Luxembourg in 2014. He was a postdoctoral fellow and senior research associate at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and University of Bristol, UK, respectively. Prior to joining the University of Innsbruck, he was a lecturer at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria.
