"The project is designed to create synergies in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures in order to ultimately improve patient care," says Elke Gizewski, Director of the Innsbruck University Clinic for Neuroradiology, who is coordinating the project together with Clemens Decristoforo from the University Clinic for Nuclear Medicine. Other participating clinics and institutes from the Medical University include Radiotherapy, ENT, Radiology and Medical Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering from the LFUI and Biomedical Informatics and Mechatronics from UMIT TIROL.
