The Master's programme was launched in the winter semester 2021/2022 and is aimed at students who are interested in developing IT systems on an industrial scale using advanced digital technologies, collaborating effectively with other specialist disciplines and learning about software quality, security and data protection from the perspective of scientific methods.
Eduard Frankford completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck and also holds a Master's degree in International Business and Economics. He spent a semester abroad in Seville, Spain, during the 2019/20 winter semester for his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He wrote his Master's thesis in the context of the CodeAbility Austria project, in which digitally supported methods for programming education are being introduced into teaching together with six other Austrian universities. Eduard Frankford focussed on usability aspects in the context of OER (Open Educational Resources). The Quality Engineering research group at the Department of Computer Science is delighted that Eduard Frankford has decided to stay at the university and complete a PhD programme.
