The objective of the symposium was to bring together overlapping communities, foster exchange, develop synergies, develop common visions and ambitions, enhance the visibility of activities, and provide a forum for the next generation of researchers.
120 participants engaged in workshops and enjoyed plenary presentations, a common poster session, and the all-important hallway interaction.
