Philipp Gritsch and Sashko Ristov (both members of the QE research group) as well as their bachelor studend Deniz Pierer received the best paper award for their paper "Twin2Clouds: Cost-Aware Digital Twin Engineering and Deployment Across Federated Clouds" at the 2nd International Conference on Engineering Digital Twins (EDTconf 2025) which took place in Michigan in October 2025.
