Discover. Experiment. Inspire. - The Computer Science Learning Lab

The Computer Science Learning Lab is aimed at schools in the Innsbruck region and beyond. Here, pupils can become active themselves: They experiment independently on exciting Computer Science topics and experience the University of Innsbruck up close. Our workshops take up content from the school curriculum, but go beyond this and deepen knowledge in a practical way. Research shows that such laboratory experiences can strengthen pupils' interest in science in the long term (e.g. Engeln & Euler, 2004).

Each class is accompanied for one morning by dedicated student teachers from the University of Innsbruck. The students gain valuable practical experience in direct contact with pupils, while the accompanying teachers gain new impulses and ideas for their own lessons.
