Our third-party funded projects

  • OeNB Jubiläumsfonds-Projekt

The Jubilee Fund of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB), founded on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the OeNB in 1966, has supported basic research in Austria with around 839 million euros (as at December 31, 2024) for 10,180 projects. Since 2004, the Jubilee Fund has also contributed up to 75 million euros annually to the endowment of the National Foundation for Research, Technology and Development (FTE National Foundation), which has given other important domestic research funding institutions, such as the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), long-term security in their funding prospects.

The project’s aim is to analyze key determinants of individual behavior and market performance in credence goods markets with a variety of methods, combining theoretical work, laboratory experiments and field experiments. The research group consists of more than 30 scholars from economics and finance, thus bridging research across both fields.
