IASA, The International Association of Structures and Architecture
Prof. Günther H. Filz is honored to have been elected to the Executive Council of IASA, The International Association of Structures and Architecture and to chair the newly founded working group: Emerging Voices.
"IASA has long been a bridge between disciplines, and now we’re committed to building a stronger platform for those who will shape the future of our field.
As part of this role, I will be curating initiatives in the framework of IASA and for the next Hashtag#ICSA 2027 conference. This will be about inclusion, visibility, and opportunity—for researchers, educators, and designers whose voices must be heard at the intersection of structures and architecture."
IASA nurtures the synergies of Structures & Architecture across teaching, research, and practice.
The International Association of Structures and Architecture serves as a global cross-disciplinary platform open for all researchers, practitioners, and educators exploring synergetic potentials of Structures and Architecture. On this network- and mentoring platform we share knowledge in order to increase our collective range of action in response to the environmental, social and economic imbalances governing a viable development of the built environment.
