It is important to us to stay in touch with our former students. The alumni networks of our departments keep former students informed about exciting research projects, events and career opportunities.
The Earth Science Exhibition Collection of the Institutes of Geology and Mineralogy/Petrography, which was redesigned in the summer of 2019, will be expanded into a faculty facility on 1 October 2025. The new ‘GeoClimaLab’ will also include exhibits from the Institutes of Geography and Atmospheric and Cryospheric Sciences. This will cover the entire spectrum of the globe and the atmosphere.
Our Green Office is a concept for an environmentally friendly, sustainable office that conserves resources, promotes employee health and reduces our ecological footprint. It is not only about the office building itself, but also about working methods, procurement and corporate culture, thus supporting the principle of sustainability enshrined in the mission statement of the University of Innsbruck.
We support the INN2science programme at the University of Innsbruck, which aims to assist students with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses in their academic careers and provide them with barrier-free access to career opportunities.
