Design of a facade-integrated split air-water heat pump, developed by Drexel and Weiß as part of the PhaseOut research project.
The results of the comprehensive planning phase and the decentralised heat pumps and ventilation units developed in the project were presented in a two-hour online workshop with the RENOWAVE innovation laboratory. A total of 15 external interested parties took part.
At the beginning, Fabian Ochs from the University of Innsbruck presented the PhaseOut project and the results of a study in which the heating load and the required flow temperature for various renovation stages and differently dimensioned radiators were analysed.
Dagmar Jähnig from AEE Intec then presented the results of a simulation study in which various heat pump systems that are currently being implemented were modelled in detail for different building envelope qualities. The final energy demand for space heating and domestic hot water preparation was analysed.
Markus Male from IDM gave an overview of the development and possible applications of the booster heat pump developed in the project.
Gordon Bilgeri from Drexel und Weiss presented the development and possible uses of the decentralised ventilation unit and the decentralised domestic hot water heat pump, which were also developed as part of the project.
Finally, Thomas Roßkopf-Nachbaur from the Vorarlberg Energy Institute presented the findings of the project, which will be summarised in the form of planning recommendations on a website and in a PDF brochure.
