Lecture Gregor Weber

On 9 December 2025, Prof. Gregor Weber from the University of Augsburg gave a guest lecture. Under the title: ‘Nahrung-Heilmittel-Gift: Überlegungen zu einer Kulturgeschichte der Pilze in der Antike’, Prof. Weber spoke about his research on the subject of mushrooms in antiquity and presented his thoughts on a cultural treatise on the subject. The exciting lecture, attended by members of the Entangled Antiquities doctoral programme and the faculty, was accompanied by a multitude of interesting questions. Prof. Weber was thanked by the doctoral programme for his exciting lecture with the hopes of it not being the last.
