To obtain one of these places, you must take the following steps:

Electronic registration, letter of motivation and payment ot the cost contribution 1^st March to 31st May 2026

1. Registration/application for the admission procedure prior to enrolment.

2. Enter your details into the system, complete the entry described below and register as an applicant for the architecture programme at the University of Innsbruck.

3. The letter of motivation includes the selection of six images with an architectural reference to various terms. For each image, enter the name of the author and write a coherent explanation in complete sentences that explains all six image selections. The explanation may contain a maximum of 250 words and serves as your personal reflection on your understanding of architecture.

4. Then pay the €50 fee to complete your application to study for a bachelor's degree in architecture at the University of Innsbruck. Please note that in the last four days before the registration deadline, the fee can only be paid by credit card or instant bank transfer to prevent late payments.

5. Once you have entered your details, uploaded your letter of motivation and paid the fee, you can print out your registration confirmation.

6. To complete your admission, please upload your documents via LFU:online (under ‘My study applications’) in good time. Please note that non-EEA citizens must have submitted all documents by 15 May 2026.

If more than 340 applicants register, a written entrance examination will be held. Applicants who have successfully completed the registration process will be invited to take the entrance examination. For the 2026/2027 academic year, this will take place on 15 July 2026. After the registration and application deadline, you will be informed by email about the next steps.
