Greater visibility and awareness as an attractive employer

CareerEvents, job and internship postings, as well as relevent information for students and graduates in your employer profile increase your visibility and strengthen your reputation as an attractive employer by diversifying your points of contact at the university.

The following Career Service activities will support you in this endeavour:

The Career Service sees itself as an interface manager between students throughout their student life cycle, potential employers and academic representatives of the faculties.

Benefits for students

With a range of accessible formats, the Career Service supports students in aligning academic learning with practical demands and comparing acquired skills with those required in the workplace. Whether used individually or in combination, the formats also offer opportunities to explore career options, meet potential employers as well and take part in informal job interviews for internships or entry-level positions. In addition, they provide space for career orientation and reflection on one’s choice of study.

Benefits for employers and the university

The Career service formats can be used individually or in combination to showcase career entry opportunities, exciting projects and diverse career paths and roles to young, highly qualified talents — all while building stronger relationships with the university. The increasing quality of cooperation, networking and dialogue between all parties, alongside a shared interest in specialized, professionally relevant and challenging content, are key factors in this success.

Through collaboration, we can effectively meet the challenges of tomorrow, as together we’re one step ahead.

The Career Service offers a range of services in the form of informations, events and counselling to support students throughout their student life cycle with their initial or subsequent steps towards the working world. This is achieved by providing spaces and opportunities for networking as well as professional and personal orientation, reflection and further developmentwithin and outside the University of Innsbruck.
