A Euclid & JWST synergy: Weak lensing of distant galaxies

Euclid image of the massive galaxy cluster Abell 2390. The dark-matter dominated mass distribution of the cluster has been reconstructed from deep Euclid weak lensing measurements and is shown in purple. The project aims to improve the accuracy of similar measurements for more distant galaxy clusters in order to facilitate cosmological investigations.
