Systemic Intervention and Consulting in (psycho-)social professions
The university continuing education programme teaches the basics of systemic thinking and acting for practical applications in psychosocial fields of action. This includes counselling and support for young people and adults in social work, social pedagogical and labour market fields of work. The degree programme clearly positions itself outside the psychotherapeutic claim of treating patients.

Requirements
- Completed or ongoing studies at a recognized post-secondary educational institution and at least one year of professional experience, or
- Secondary school leaving examination or an international equivalent and/or vocational training with at least three years of relevant professional experience
- The course instructor decides on admission.

Training and further education as a coach for "New Authority" as well as in the areas of violence counselling, violence pedagogy and work with men and boys. Professional experience as a self-employed coach and supervisor, in organisational development, crisis intervention, men's counselling, youth and street work as well as a seminar leader, trainer and lecturer.
Mag. Roland Hutyra
Studied political science, theology, behavioural sciences and adult education. Training and further education in the areas of controlling, organisational development and systemic structural set-up. Many years of leadership, teaching and trainer activity as well as a focus on strategy development, project management consulting, coaching of executives as well as team and organisational development.

Content
The university continuing education programme introduces the theoretical foundations, the attitude of the counsellor, analytical instruments and different intervention techniques of systemic work with individual clients. On the one hand, the social form of counselling is reflected in its systemic basic assumptions, a systemic basic understanding of "problems" is developed and the use of classic systemic tools (such as hypothesis formation, maps, circular questioning, constellations and other techniques) is presented. In addition, systemic work with children, adolescents and families as well as groups and organisations is also discussed. Particular emphasis is placed on deepening practical competence through reflection on one's own practical experience.
