Based on the meeting at the symposium "The Future of Islamic Theology and Religious Education in Europe in the Field of Tension between Science, Politics and Society", which took place at the University of Vienna on January 27-28, 2019, the subject representatives of Islamic Theology Studies at European universities and colleges formulated guidelines of their subject understanding and measures of their own subject autonomy.
