03-03 Create conversation

What you need to know

In UNIverse you can chat with individuals or groups. Within these chats, you can collaborate on documents, hold spontaneous video conferences, and schedule meetings.

What you need to do

  1. Click on Talk.
  2. Click on + Create a new conversation. You will find this function both on the Talk start page and to the right of the search function.
  3. Give your conversation a name.
  4. Optional: Give your conversation a description.
  5. Optional: Upload a picture for the conversation.
  6. Visibility of the conversation:
    • You can allow guests to join via link.
    • If guests are allowed to participate, password protection can also be activated.
    • Open conversations for registered users, showing them in search results. This will display your conversation in public conversations. All users can join.
  7. Click on Add participants.
  8. Now add participants.
  9. Click on Create conversation.
