Discrimination

One of the main tasks of the AKG is to provide information and counselling and to represent the interests of people who feel discriminated against due to

• their gender,
• their ethnicity,
• their religion or
• world view,
• their age (whether old or young) or
• their sexual orientation.

 

Harassment on the basis of any of the listed characteristics are also considered discrimination.

If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination for any of the reasons mentioned above in connection with your employment or studies at the university, you are welcome to contact us for confidential and free counseling. Together, we will discuss possible next steps. Any intervention will only be undertaken at your request.

Please note that disability and chronic illness do not fall within the scope of the AKG.
