Curriculum vitae:

Rorik de Boer completed his Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business and Innovation in 2019 and his Master’s degree in Digital Business and Innovation in 2021, at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

During his studies, he worked as an entrepreneur in the blockchain ecosystem in The Netherlands and developed and hosted multiple seminar series on blockchain related topics both for businesses and academia. After his studies, he worked as product owner at a startup focusing on personal- and team development through peer-learning. This period was followed by a 14 month sailing trip around the Atlantic Ocean, during which he decided to return to academia and contribute to discourse on Decentralized Autonomous Organizations.

Since 2025, he has been working as a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Department of Information Systems, Production Management, and Logistics.
