Curriculum vitae:
Aneta Mertová is a researcher and a PhD student at the department of Information Systems. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management at the Management Center Innsbruck, complemented by badges in Data Science and Scientific Data Management. She spent her senior year at the Bournemouth University, where she obtained a double degree, was a member of the Computing and Security Society, and served as a captain of the basketball team.
She continued her studies with a Master’s in Strategic Management and Innovation at the University Innsbruck focusing on AI, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing for Technological Scouting. In her PhD she is researching the design of human-centered intelligent systems for deterministic and probabilistic computing – specifically in the contexts of Algorithmic Management and Quantum-Inspired Systems.
In 2020 she attended the Summer Venture in Management Program at Harvard Business School earning certificates in policy, business, and law. She is currently pursuing a continuing education program in Advanced Quantum Technologies and Applications at the Technical University Delft. Her professional background is in FinTech, risk modelling, data analysis and automation.
