The university programme provides practice-oriented specialist knowledge in selected areas of law. Graduates are able to identify and understand legal interrelationships and to competently support and assist in the handling of practice-oriented legal matters and the resulting transactions in Austrian notarial offices.

Qualification profile
The programme equips graduates with the ability to analyse legal issues in selected areas of law and to competently support the handling of practice-relevant cases in legal services offices. As a result, graduates are qualified to contribute to the effective and high-quality performance of legal tasks in Austrian notarial offices and other legal services offices.

Target group
The university programme is intended for employees of Austrian notarial offices as well as individuals who wish to acquire the corresponding professional qualification.

Requirements
- general university entrance qualification.
- professionally relevant work experience of at least one year
Participation in the university continuing education courses requires the admission as a non-degree student

Scientific advisor to the South Tyrolean provincial government on issues relating to EU law and the international anchoring of autonomy Scientific advisor to several federal ministries and the Tyrolean provincial government on EU law issues and to the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein on EEA law issues In January 2022, awarded the Grand Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria at the Landhaus in Innsbruck.
