Research and development
Our R&D follows the objective of further establishing timber construction in a safe, climate-neutral and aesthetic built environment. In doing so, we adhere to the most stringent scientific principles, our research results lead to concrete and feasible recommendations for the practice. With this objective in mind, we cooperate with R&D institutions and local and international partners from practice and act as a partner and leader of national and international research projects. For this purpose, the extensive laboratory infrastructure of the TVFA and the TiroLignum are available to us. In the following, we provide an overview of ongoing and completed research projects.
