Information for Outgoing students
Under bilateral agreements of the University of Innsbruck, you have the opportunity to study for one or up to two semesters at our partner universities in the following degree programmes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (programme is being phased out)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics

To be nominated for the Erasmus programme, you must submit your application at least one year before your planned stay. To this end, attendance at the annual information session on the Erasmus programme held at the Faculty of Technical Sciences is strongly recommended.

Following the information session, the applicationand nomination of candidates, and the allocation of places at the partner universities for the summer and winter semesters of the following academic year, will take place. Nomination is carried out by the ERASMUS programme coordinator in accordance with the relevant selection criteria.
Once the application and nomination process has been finalized, the Learning Agreement must be completed. Find out well in advance about the courses on offer at the host university. This time-consuming part of preparing for your studies abroad requires careful consideration to ensure that you can apply for recognition of your academic achievements without any problems. You must specify courses totalling 30 ECTS per semester. This corresponds to the academic workload of one semester (the ‘no loss of progress’ principle).
