Biography
Mathias is a Research Associate and PhD Candidate at the Chair of International Management at the University of Innsbruck and joined the team in February 2026. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Economics and a MSc in Strategic Management and Innovation from University of Innsbruck. During his studies he also spent a semester abroad at McMaster University in Canada and gained practical experience in the infrastructure sector, the financial sector and the sports industry.
Research Interests
Mathias research interest lies at the intersection of internationalization, cultural behavior and strategic decision-making. His doctoral research explores how AI affects decision-making and shape biases in internationalization strategies.
