Challenge

For people with limited mobility in their arms or hands, lifting and tilting a kettle can become an everyday challenge. The risk of spilling hot water or burning oneself on the hot metal not only reduces safety but also limits independence in daily life.

Solution

The idea provider placed great importance on a solution that is not only functional and safe but also space-saving and aesthetically appealing. Therefore, a compact and robust wooden design was developed that allows the kettle to be tilted effortlessly without having to lift it. The mechanism is similar to the principle of a garden swing, with the kettle remaining securely in its holder. This significantly reduces the risk of burns from hot water or contact with the metal and enables greater independence in everyday life.
