Brainstem imaging (Best practices & methods development Brainstem MRI)

Key objectives of the Working Group
a) establish current best practices and reliabilities in brainstem MRI protocols through multi-site evaluations,
b) facilitate the translation of advanced neuroimaging protocols from ultrahigh-field imaging to clinical settings and from development to clinical application,
c) establish a platform for identifying, jointly developing, and promoting new brainstem characterization tools that integrate pulse sequence development with anatomical priors and image segmentation tools,
d) establish a research infrastructure which will allow to increase the specificity of brainstem neuroimaging by bridging histology and neuroimaging.
