The minor Media – Language – Culture is an additional offering for all Bachelor's students at the University of Innsbruck who are interested in media and media communication and would like to acquire additional skills in this area, perhaps with a view to using them later in their careers.

The minor offers a selection of courses that deal with media and media communication from different perspectives and convey approaches from the fields of linguistics and media studies (e.g. media analysis, media research and media practice in print media, film/television and online media) and cultural studies and literary studies (e.g. film analysis, comparative media research, gender studies). Thanks to a wide range of different elective modules, the mino can be tailored to individual interests.
