Shared values and global ambitions

By strengthening European partnerships, new opportunities will be created for students and staff, while advancing shared ambitions in environmental sustainability and societal wellbeing.
Perspectives for research and mobility
Aurora Secretary General Ramon Puras highlighted that the strategic partnership paves the way for deeper cooperation:
“As a strategic partner, University of Sussex will begin structured engagement with Aurora institutions, participating in selected events and collaborative activities, and building institutional connections across the network.”
Full membership would open further opportunities, particularly in the context of the anticipated re-association of the United Kingdom to the Erasmus+ programme.
Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding
The MoU was signed by Professor Sasha Roseneil on behalf of the University of Sussex and by Veronika Sexl, President of Aurora and Rector of the University of Innsbruck. It defines the framework for cooperation and reflects the shared intentions of both institutions to deepen collaboration.
