Magnetically shielded room
Description
Magnetically shielded room for low frequency magnetic field measurements (DC to ~10 kHz), e.g. for the characterization and imaging of magnetic nanoparticles.
Equipment
Magnetically shielded room:
- two layers of Mu-metal, one layer of Aluminum
Magnetometers:
- optically pumped magnetometers (https://twinleaf.com/magnetometers/OMG/)
- fluxgate magnetometers
- magnetoresistive sensors
Magnetic field generation:
- Helmholtz coils, printed circuit board (PCB) coils (µT up to mT)
- current sources for inductive loads
Non-magnetic equipment:
- non-magnetic patient bed
Magnetic nanoparticles (MNP):
- magnetic nanoparticle phantoms
- methods for characterization of magnetic nanoparticles: magnetorelaxometry (MRX), magnetic particle spectroscopy (MPS)
- imaging of magnetic nanoparticles
