Guest room at the Research Institute for Limnology, Mondsee
Room types
On the 2nd floor of the institute building there are three guest rooms for 4 people each (e.g. for students = 12 students) and a double room with integrated bathroom and WC for guest researchers and seminar guests. There is a social room with a kitchenette on the same floor for heating up small meals.
Infrastructure for courses and retreats
Our seminar room "Schafberg" on the 2nd floor can be used for courses, written examinations and meetings by prior arrangement with the secretary's office. The practice laboratory on the ground floor of the building can be used for courses (microscopy, etc.).
Costs
BSc, MSc and PhD students of the University of Innsbruck can use our guest rooms free of charge. For external students we charge € 10,- per day or € 50,- per week (reduced price). Guest researchers and co-operation partners are charged the standard price of € 30.- per day or € 150.- per week. For the use of the room and an electronic chip (= key for entrance doors and the booked room), the secretariat collects a deposit of € 50 in cash, which will be refunded on departure.
Booking and payment
The availability of the rooms can be enquired by telephone ( +43 512507 50201) or by e-mail ( office-ilim@uibk.ac.at) at the secretariat. The personal registration for rooms on site takes place between Monday and Friday 8-10 a.m. in the secretariat (ground floor). For online registration we require a copy of your ID with your personal details, for foreign guests the number of your passport. Payment of the room and deposit is made in cash upon registration against invoice.
Parking
There is a car park in front of the institute building.
House rules
In general, our guests are expected to treat the facilities with care and to report any damage immediately. It is not possible to keep pets in the guest rooms. House rules are available in the rooms and must be followed.
