Vulnerability, Inequality and Non-Discrimination - New journal article published in The International Journal of Human Rights

The article “The concept of vulnerability and its relation to the concepts of inequality and discrimination – a review article”, written by Monika Mayrhofer, focuses on the question of how vulnerability is conceptualised in relation to the concepts of equality and non-discrimination.

On the basis of a comprehensive literature review, the article presents four strands of argument that were identified in the literature: the ‘better concept approach’, the ‘inequality causes vulnerability approach’, the ‘problematic concept approach’ and the ‘prioritisation approach’. The open-access article is published in The International Journal of Human Rights.
